Bob and Kathryn | Engagement

It comes as no shock that I just adore Kathryn and Bob!  But then, I adore all my clients.

I remember when Kathryn first reached out and she was nervous she would miss the opportunity to book with me as she was finishing up training for work in Ottawa!  Girl, honestly I LOVE Ottawa and would have driven down there just to meet you!

I often get asked where I think an engagement session should happen and I often answer with a question.  To me it’s important for clients to feel comfortable and usually I’ll ask them to incorporate a location that is unique to them.  Somewhere you met, somewhere you always go for coffee together.  The first time you went skiing or the hundredth time you went hiking on your favourite nature trail.  Relaxing at your house, the drive-in or let’s explore a new location together.  As long as everyone is safe and happy there is no wrong answer to that question.  The reason for my using these locations is because you’re already familiar with them (or not) and feel somewhat comfortable and it adds to your personalities!  Say what?  It’s true.  It’s who you are, it’s what you do that I love to engage with.  That being said, it comes as no surprise that Kathryn and Bob decided they wanted to use the bush at his parents house in the country out here n Haldimand Norfolk, Ontario.  I’m still slightly envious of all that beautiful space!

We got a decent sized fire going and poured the hot chocolate to keep us warm and explored.  I’m pretty sure I got some laughs from Bob when he saw my crazy antics in the bush to get him to smile and I don’t think I need to mention Alladin or a magic carpet ride anytime soon 😉  but I too adore Princess Jasmine.

This October they will become husband and wife in front of all their friends and loved ones and I cannot wait!  They will say their I Do’s at the Beechwood Golf and Country Club in Niagara Falls!!  To say I am excited is an understatement.  I can’t wait!

Is it October yet? 😛
